Günter Burkhardt, born in 1961, was a secondary school teacher of social studies, geography, and math before he devoted himself exclusively to developing games. He lives with his family in the Swabian Alb. He gets his ideas while riding his bicycle or on trips in his motorhome. He has already published many games with HABA, among them “Dragon's Breath,” which he developed together with his daughter Lena and which received the coveted “2018 Children’s Game of the Year” award.

Stephanie Böhm was born in 1988 in Dresden. From an early age her aim was to illustrate games, and she briefly studied game and learning aid design in Halle (Saale) where she designed essentially unnecessary things. Eventually she gave up her studies, discovered digital painting and got her first job in the video game industry. A few years later she started working as a freelance illustrator, and has since been working on a variety of games. She currently lives in Wuppertal.
