... roll the dice, trade, and be happy!
The luck of the dice will decide how many of your chips you’ll need to trade for the next animal. But a word of warning: In this game, it’s not about gaining the most wealth but instead about finding ultimate happiness. The first player to claim the four-leaf clover by skillful trading everything away wins.
72 chips (29 x gold lumps, 16 x horses, 14 x pigs, 13 x gooses), 1 four-leaf clover, 2 dice, 1 rulebook.
1. Each player receives 6 gold lumps. Place the remaining chips in the center of the table in 4 adjacent piles. From left to right: gold lumps, horses, pigs, geese. To the right of the geese, place the four-leaf clover.
2. Play goes in a clockwise direction.
3. Roll both dice. The result determines the way in which the chips are swapped: red dice = the number of identical chips from the player’s hand; blue dice = the number of chips to be taken from the next pile on the right. Not permitted: swapping right to left or skipping over a pile.
4. If the player is unable to swap or prefers not to, he or she takes 2 gold lumps from the center.
5. The first player to swap geese for a four-leaf clover wins.
