Olé, olé, olé! It’s the starting whistle for the great HABA ball championships! The first to play are the HABA mini soft play balls. They show everything that can be done with the different soft balls. First they warm up by playing with the stacking ball Allegro, which is wonderfully easy to grasp, and then comes the best kind of ball magic. The chant is “eenie, meenee, miney, mo, where did the animal go?” when playing with the squeaky and crackly Animal Den. With this ball, the figures disappear quickly when they are pulled into the fabric ball. The crowd roars with enthusiasm as the HABA soft play ball skilfully throw the easy-to-grasp, velvety soft fabric ball Fiori to each other. Now the fabric ball Discoverers’ Meadow comes into play and everybody goes wild with excitement because it boasts a few things to discover: the snail rattles, the bird cheeps and the butterfly and the clover crackle and, when one animal is pulled, another moves on the other side of the ball. Things get even wilder when the fabric ball Animal Friends is accidentally thrown into the grandstand. Everybody is excited because little animal friends peek out of the peepholes and all of the fans want to touch and tug on the animals’ ears. The crow is delighted and waves off the HABA soft mini balls with rounds of applause. Now it’s time for the HABA football minis to play.
The referee blows the starting whistle and the HABA football minis charge towards the opponents’ goal with the fabric ball Rainbow that shines in all the colours of the rainbow. The player shoots... But the goalie holds on tight. Because there are different fabrics and lots of sound effects to explore in this ball, the goalie enthusiastically keeps hold of it and gives it a thorough inspection. Soon the crowd begins to cat-call with impatience. A little spectator energetically shakes his clutching toy Mushroom Ball, with a nugget in the touching net. Finally, the game begins again!
After just a short time, the HABA football minis have wrangled the fabric ball Miniland, with bell, from their opponents and are running for the goal again. They shoot... Gooooaaaal! Now it’s 1:0 to the HABA football minis, with only a few minutes left to play before half-time. The fans celebrate with their players. The little doll mummies in the stadium have dressed their dolls in extra special football outfits. Some are wearing the dress set Bastian, while others are modelling the dress set Toni, each with football boots, shin guards, headband, football shirt and shorts.
The ref blows hard on his whistle. Half-time! The HABA football minis take a little breather. Then they play an outstanding second half, even chalking up 2:0 just before the end! The fans go wild and they are so noisy that the final whistle can scarcely be heard. The HABA football minis really celebrate on the pitch.
Now there's no stopping the football fever. But the stadium announcer says that there is even more to celebrate, because the HABA handball minis were successful too. They showed off their ball skills and won hands down in a quick game with the Pirae’s Journey, Lotta and Eliza balls.
Before everybody goes home, the stadium announcer has another hot tip for all football fans aged between 4 and 99 years: the fantastic football memory game, Soccer Dinosaurs! He quickly explains what it’s all about. In this game, the 2 to 4 players not only need nimble footballers’ feet, but a quick mind. Players who notice where their own dinosaurs are standing make the best passes and score the most goals. But when the ref blows the whistle, the dinos are mixed up again, which really exercises the players' grey matter!
All of the fans are now heading for the stadium exit in a happy mood and they are already looking forward to the next games in the HABA ball championships!
