The co-operative game ”Ant-ropolis" has only been available at specialized toy retailers for a few months but already there are authentic ”ant professionals".
We found these experts in the children’s games forum www.spielbox.de. They have developed an exciting variation to the game rules so that Ant-ropolis remains a challenge even for ant-professionals.
The rules of the basic game apply, except for the following changes:
At the beginning three food tiles showing one tasty morsel, two food tiles showing two tasty morsels and one food tile showing three tasty morsels are placed face-down next to the game board and shuffled.
If Anthony the ant bear appears on the die, one food tile is turned over and Anthony is moved as many squares as there are tasty morsels.
The food tile is turned face-down again and all the food tiles are re-shuffled.
Hint:
If this variation is too difficult, replace the food tile showing three tasty morsels with a tile showing only one.
If a variation seems too easy, replace the food tile showing one tasty morsel with a tile showing two or three tasty morsels.
